Meal Feeding Systems
Permbrand offers meal feeding systems, grain milling equipment, grain storage and molasses feeding systems for new and existing dairy sheds(rotary and herringbone) , piggeries and poultry.
After initial enquiry a quote is sent followed by a visit to the farm. The farmer decides whether he is milling his own grain and requires a roller mill or if he is going to feed manufactured pellets.
During the farm visit discussion with the farmer on how best to install the equipment into the shed, and layout for silos and milling equipment with the results being as little as possible inconvenience to the milking regime if it is installation into an existing shed also ensuring the farmer has a clear understanding of what he is ordering. This relationship is a very important step in the installation to ensure that all goes smoothly and completed on time with everyone satisfied with the end result.
Meal feeding has become very popular with dairy farmers as they understand the need to feed their cows high energy feed to increase production, weight and help cows cycle. Meal feeding in the shed achieves this and also is cost effective with the system ensuring full control of feed delivery, no extra labour needed; cows are feed automatically with the push of a button while they are producing milk into the vat.
Permbrand also offers a maintenance programme to farmers after installation to ensure trouble free and effective herd feeding.
